On the basis of the signed lincence agreement TBU authors are entitled to a 10% discount when paying APC. Only one discount is permitted per paper. At least one author is an affiliated author. Discount cannot be combined with other available discounts.
MDPI publishes all its journals in full open access. All their articles are published under a Creative Commons (CC BY) license. Authors pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of professional production of articles.
APC’s values are calculated by followed recommendations from the Fair Open Access Alliance. This organization promotes sustainable and transparent scholarly open access publishing. This also makes MDPI fully compliant with the requirements of Plan S.
