At the beginning of 2021, a European platform for open publishing is to be launched. This platform is addressed especially for the outputs of the European projects Horizon2020 and Horizon Europe. Article Processing Chages (APCs) will be paid directly by the European Commission. The data on which the published research results will be based will have to be FAIR, ie. Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. The platform is to help with the transition to fully open publishing.
